At Mente Sana PR, we specialize in neurological and psychiatric diagnosis and treatment in Puerto Rico.

We offer specialized treatment for adults with Alzheimer’s, vascular, frontotemporal, and Parkinson’s dementias, as well as epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis, and post-stroke symptoms.

We also provide psychotherapy and psychopharmacological treatment for mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and other types of psychosis.

Additionally, we combine both disciplines for the treatment of sleep disorders.

Dr. José Ríos Cervantes

Psychiatrist

Dr. Ríos Cervantes received his specialized training in Europe and Puerto Rico. After working at the State Psychiatric Hospital, he has dedicated himself exclusively to his private practice. He has over thirty years of experience as a specialist in psychiatry.

Dr. José Ríos Robles

Psychiatrist

Dr. Ríos Robles completed his specialty in internal medicine at Ramón Emeterio Betances Hospital. He then completed his specialty in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has conducted scientific research on resistance to antiplatelet medications in Puerto Rican patients post-angioplasty, and has written about serotonin syndrome and post-surgical delirium.

Dra. Olga V. Ríos Robles

Neurologist - Epileptologist

Dr. Ríos Robles completed her specialty in neurology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She then completed a subspecialty in epilepsy at the University of Pennsylvania. Later, she became part of the medical faculty at Christiana Care Hospital in Delaware. Currently, she is dedicated exclusively to her private practice.
